To reach the lovely and truly authentic town of Sóller, just 3 km inland, it is highly recommended to take the delightful century old, wood-panelled tram that in less than thirty minutes, weaves a magical route from the coast, through lush countryside, olive and orange groves, to the heart of the town, stopping at various key places en route.
Palma de Mallorca, the island’s capital, can also be reached by the scenic two-hour long train ride direct from Sóller train station.

Soller's best hotel
My first time in Soller and the Jumeriah Hotel & Spa, which surpassed my expectations. I really liked that we could walk in to Soller and experience the town with beach front. Many local Mediterranean restaurants to choose from. The best part of the hotel was the room; the bed and linen, felt unbelievably comfortable. I did not want to get out of bed!!! A close second was the outstandingly amazing sea views by the infinity pool, to sit and relax having a cocktail. Ideal for those wanting a more modern hotel; offering easy access to the local town with bars and restaurants.
