Villa Spinaltermine is a wonderful property accessed by a 3 kms private road making it a perfect exclusive haven with magnificent views over the private nature sanctuary of the estate. The grounds, pool area and garden offer several places to sit or dine in shaded or open locations depending on the season.
The accommodation is in two buildings; the main house with 4 bedrooms and there is also a 1 bedroom guest annexe.
The light and spacious home is elegantly furnished and the large open-plan kitchen sitting room is ideal for entertaining. A 15 m x 4m heated infinity pool, with changing room, kitchenette, covered sitting area and a dining area under a loggia makes for a perfect place to relax with facilities at hand.
Within the walls of the castle is this pocket-sized chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mary, perfect for intimate celebrations. Restored by the family while Count Benedikt and Donna Nencia Bolza lived in the castle with their five children, the walls are covered with fine monochrome frescoes, trompe l’oeil columns and delicate floral paintings. On the back wall is a fresco that tells the story of the Bolza family and their origins.
With a talented team of chefs can create just about anything. One-off meals, full-time catering, parties and feasts – you’re in good hands. Simple summer salads from our synergic kitchen garden, Umbrian feasts on your sun-dappled terrace, a relaxed evening with pizzas hot out of the outdoor oven…anything is possible.
Each house has its own dedicated housekeeper who ensures everything is ready for arrival, no matter the time of day or night. Bedrooms are filled with just-picked flowers, bathrooms stocked with our bespoke Ortigia products, and kitchen pantries filled with local essentials: fruit, milk, yoghurt, cheese, prosciutto, pasta, and our homemade torta di cioccolato.
The estate drivers know their way around, whether you need a quick hop from the airport, or a full-day excursion around Tuscany and Umbria’s delightful hilltop villages and medieval towns. Helicopter trips are also available on request.
Activities can be arranged, clay pigeon shooting, fishing, truffle hunting, tennis, cooking classes and cycling including electric bikes.
