One of the most expensive and glamorous social hubs in Europe, Cannes was once just a small fishing village. Then again, do not be deceived, Cannes suits all types of budgets. Cobblestone streets lined with traditional and stunning architecture in Le Suquet, and perching in boutique cafes on the marina to people watch and drink coffee should be experienced. Maybe take a trip to Old Town and visit the castle ruins and narrow streets filled with restaurants and souvenir shops.
