Chalet Banya

Chalet Banya was completed in November 2014 and is a lovely, free-standing, catered chalet with stunning Matterhorn views and a heated indoor swimming pool. You can ski back to the door under normal snow conditions and the modern design is complimented by a lovely ambience and layout.

The chalet is accessed from street level on the third floor where there is a ski and boot room. The chalet has been specifically designed to allow for wheelchair access: there is ramp to the front door and an internal lift between floors, in addition to the stairs. One of the bathrooms has been designed for wheel-chair use.
On the second floor is the large sitting room with an open fireplace and wood stove, Matterhorn views, as well as its own balcony. The adjacent open plan kitchen and dining area is fully equipped and has a big table where 8-12 people can enjoy supper together, as well as a balcony which looks at the Matterhorn.
There is a second lounge with TV, DVD and music system and a separate small office area.

The second floor comprises 3 bedrooms, each with their own bath and/or shower, WC and balcony. Two of the rooms are twin/doubles whilst the third has four, full-size bunk-beds (90cms x 200cms) for 2 adults or up to 4 children.
The ground floor has an extensive “wellness” area with a 10m heated swimming pool with Matterhorn views, a sauna, shower and equipped exercise area.

The bedrooms and main sitting room have cable TV, whilst the chalet has its own private wifi network. All bathrooms/showers have hairdryers and there are safes in all the bedrooms.

The chefs are trained to a Michelin star level and are fully flexible to your requirements and wishes, we offer an extensive breakfast with cereals, fruit juices, fruit salads, pastries, yoghurts, muesli, breads, cold cuts, jams, cheeses, eggs as well as hot options such as Eggs Benedict, omelettes, waffles, pancakes, or a full cooked breakfast. We offer afternoon tea daily with fresh cake, biscuits and if required sandwiches. Supper is a 4-5 course fine dining affair but if you would prefer a simpler menu we can of course offer this too. The chalet is serviced daily and we do turn-down during supper. There is an open bar throughout your stay.
