Being die-hard skiers and mountain enthusiasts themselves, the owners of Chalet Nanook had a well thought out list of requirements for their perfect Alpine home from home. Being part of a large and diverse ski area and a vibrant resort was a must, close proximity to Geneva was of utmost importance, and the property had to have amazing views. They fell in love with Morzine and Chalet Nanook.
Situated in Le Pied de La Plagne area, just a short 4 minute drive from Morzine town centre, giving easy access to Morzine-Avoriaz and the wider Portes du Soleil area, this luxury chalet is set over three floors, totalling 240m² and comfortably sleeps 10 guests in 5 beautifully appointed en suite bedrooms.
The ground floor is accessed through the main entrance or the large garage, which has space for 2 vehicles and leads into the main chalet through a conveniently located boot room. The first of 5 en-suite bedrooms is located on the ground floor, as is the all-important and very luxurious glass-fronted sauna.
Heading upwards, the first floor is home to 4 more beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms, including the amazing master suite which boasts a large front aspect balcony, en-suite shower room and separate freestanding bath. The sun trap of a rear terrace is also accessed from the first floor and includes a perfectly positioned hot tub, the ideal spot for your apres tipple of choice.
The entire top floor of Chalet Nanook has been devoted to the very best of open plan living and guests can expect to be blown away by the majestic views across the valley, which are captured perfectly by the floor-to-ceiling windows. The kitchen is beautifully appointed and includes comfortable island seating, there is a large dining table with plenty of space for 10 and the living area has been positioned to make the most of those breathtaking mountain views while you relax in front of the log fire.
